2012 FUNDRAISING GOAL $75,000
Unrestricted Gift- If your gift is unrestricted it will be used by the GLS/BLA Association as the Board shall determine during 2012.
Scholarships/Awards- (go to http://www.blagls.org and click on Awards for more information).
Technology Fund- Goal: $25,000-This fund has been established to upgrade BLA’s technology for students and teachers.
Headmaster’s Fund-Goal $2,500: This money will be given to Headmaster Emilia Pastor for use at her discretion to fund a variety of small school expenses during the 2012 year.
Teacher’s Fund-Goal $10,000: A number of teachers have made specific requests for additional teaching materials and supplies. The average request is $500.
Reception Area Fund-Goal $5,000: A plan has been proposed to renovate the area which receives guests at Boston Latin Academy. This renovation will include a reception desk and sign.
GLS Book Project-Goal $10,000: A new history of Girls’ Latin School covering the years 1898 through 1976 is being written. We are seeking donations in order to have the book published.
We are fortunate to have a deeply loyal group of alumnae/i from Girls Latin School and Boston Latin Academy.
